What motivated me to start this endeavour was the scandal regarding the most popular Islamic app out there and what they did with the data they were collecting from Muslims as well as showing inappropriate ads in their app for non-premium users. InshaAllah I want to give Muslims an alternative to that which is why I started this company single-handedly without any backers and finance.

Everyday Muslim requires your location data to calculate the prayer times for your specific geolocation and to show you the Mosques near you. Your location data will stay on your phone and will not be transferred anywhere or shared with anyone.
The adhan is muted by default. If you want to set the adhan to sound then go to the settings tab of the app, make sure "Adhan notifications" is on, tap on the "Adhan notifications" settings text and set the adhan that you will like to hear at each of the prayer times. Contact us if you have anymore questions.
The timing could be different for many reasons such as
1. Your local mosque could be displaying iqama time instead of the time of the prayer
2. Your local mosque could be using a different calculation method to the one you're using in the app. Go to settings to see the different prayer time calculation methods.
